The web browser can easily handle your search queries, but its USP is it plants trees across the globe from the money it earns. The reason, its user interface is clean, and it’s somewhat similar to Google. In fact, it could be a great choice among alternatives to Google for many users. And then there’s the fact that MapKit JS isn’t the full Apple Maps experience at all.While Ecosia has been in existence since 2009, it’s only a surprise that not many people are aware of this free-to-use search engine. Businesses may think to update their Google Maps listings long before they consider doing so for Apple Maps. Without the huge number of searches performed on competing platforms, there’s less (anonymous) data to pull from in terms of improving the service. The service is primarily available via dedicated apps to users of Apple devices like the iPhone and Mac, and this severely limits the number of people who can use it.
